Core Equipment

This is a beginning-level class conducted on STOTT PILATES' Reformer and/or Chair, specialized pieces of equipment that allows students to work out using spring resistance. The class covers the basic principles of Pilates, allowing students to work slowly and correctly to help build core strength and flexibility.

 

Intermediate Chair

Building on the essential level foundations, learn how to achieve greater muscular control using the Stability Chair. Perfect for personal training, athletic conditioning and performance enhancement.

 

Advanced Reformer

This advanced-level workout is designed for those who are already comfortable with the intermediate/advanced reformer workout. A greater degree of coordination, flexibility, balance and endurance is required for this class.

 

Advanced Chair

Ultimate core conditioning exercises performed on the Stability Chair. A great adjunct to reformer exercises. Excellent for personal training and performance enhancement.

 

Stretch and Strengthen

This is a beginning/intermediate level class combining pilates matwork with flexibility training. There will be plenty of the great core conditioning you're used to in a pilates mat class, using props for variety and challenge. Flexibility exercises including standing poses, balances, stretches and upper body strength and flexibility work will make this a very well balanced, challenging, and fun workout.

 

Baby and Me Core

This class is designed not only to help new moms return to their pre-baby bodies, but also to release the tension and fatigue. Bring your baby to class and learn how to incorporate your workout into your daily schedule and make new friends.

 

Stretch Therapy

Flexibility plays an integral part in our physical and mental well being. Stretching allows us to release muscular tension, combat and manage injury, and allay common aches and pains associated with stress and age or too much work at the computer! In this class you will learn about your patterns of tension, and how to do something about them! As well, you will gain deeper insight to yourself and your awareness will increase. Your body will feel looser and your range of movement will be greater and you will be more relaxed.

 

The Next Level

This class is for those participants who think they are ready to take their pilates to the next level. This is also great class for anyone wanting to add another day of pilates to their training schedule.

 

Rolling on the Floor

Using exercises learned in the Stretch Therapy classes, rolling on the floor incorporates movement through stretches to create muscle length, increased range of motion, release muscular tension and trigger points. Leave this class feeling relaxed and invigorated!

 

Athletic Flexibility Training

This class addresses sport specific postures and tightness that result in injury and decreased athletic performance. In this class participants will target particular muscle groups, releasing adhesions and increase range of motion. The intent of this class is to increase athletic performance and injury prevention.

 

Circuit Express

A combination of the most popular pieces of Pilates equipment into one class and you get a workout fit for a champion. All levels welcome.

 

Pilates Boot Camp

A kick-butt Pilates Mat and Sculpting class that is challenging, high energy and fun. All levels welcome. Athletic shoes required.

 

30/20/10

30 minutes of hard core Spinning, 20 minutes of Pilates based Sculpting and 10 minutes of Stretching. All levels welcome. Athletic shoes required.

 

Bike & Band Burn

30+ minutes of intense spin followed by an even more intense series of Reformer-based exercises using nothing more than a band. Perfect combination of cardio and resistance training. All levels welcome.

 

Pilates Core & Stretch

This Mat-based class increases total body flexibility and core strength using the principles of Pilates. All levels welcome.

 

Butt Buster

This class is considered a surgery free butt lift! 55 minutes of intense pilates based exercises that will leave you energized and ready to hit the beach!

 

Pilates for Golf

A movement as complex as a golf swing requires focus, strength, flexibility, balance, and power from the ground up. Learn how to use these specially designed intense exercises to help sharpen all of those areas. Focus on isolating key physical components that will aid in increasing club head speed to send the ball further down the fairway and get that extra advantage on the green.

 

Pilates for Racquet Sports

Help raise your game to a new level with targeted STOTT PILATESĀ® exercises designed specifically for racquet sports. With a better understanding of the conditioning requirements these sports, these moves will help improve balance and flexibility and condition the entire body. Discuss the unique benefits of working with pilates exercises to enhance core stability and body awareness creating a lasting performance boost for any level athlete.
